Without a long period of solitude after retiring from the officialdom, how could Su Dongpo, who was indifferent to life and death, watch the humiliation of Mo? Before the court, flowers bloom and fall, watching the clouds roll and relax in the sky "is the leisurely murmuring of the soul towards life when alone." The ancients once saw the current month, when did this month shine on the ancients "is the gentle questioning of time by the soul when alone. Philosophy of life, enlightenment, and exploration of the unknown are many of the wisdom gained by the soul when alone. It is solitude that allows the soul to escape from the distractions of worldly affairs, ride on the boat of the spirit, and explore deeper into wisdom, seeking a different kind of pure happiness.


Solitude is a necessary space for the growth of the soul. Playing and singing by oneself, pouring and drinking by oneself, are often the easiest and most natural. When alone, you can read books if you want, sing songs if you want, and dance if you want. Laugh heartily or shed tears while reading, don't worry about losing your composure; Singing off key, or dancing clumsily and awkwardly, there is no need to worry about others' gaze. The soul breathes freely and grows vigorously in this casual solitude.


Solitude is the most free air that a person can give to their soul, allowing long suppressed emotions to be fully released; When alone, a person can provide the longest lasting healing medicine for their own soul, allowing the wounded soul to heal on its own. Allowing the soul to rest and grow in solitude is a necessary path for us to attain freedom and tranquility.
